Went to Salton Sea recently, and decided to paint this, in addition to the photos I shot.
Inspiring, spooky by part, strange too. In some places, it feels like the inhabitants have vanished over the night, leaving everything behind.
Will go back, will shoot more, will paint more.
Peace,

I am back into intense collages combined with painting techniques. This is a fairly common way of working when you deal with concept art, although the painterly quality usually freaks clients out.
This illustration is a combination of random scribbles with chunks of older illustrations, followed by hours of fun painting.
It's a tribute to some of the classics of the genre, to some of my timeless references and authors.
And finally, thanks to the lovely Kristeen Claire for letting me use her as a reference.Digital Art, Illustration2013 -
Personal work.
I wanted to create a cinematographic image, yet painterly. It's an adaptation of the visual language I'm developing through my car series, applied to human figure.
There's also a bit more of a narrative here, however simple it is.
